Cultural and Civilizational Fractures of the Global World

The article raises a number of topical problems and offers an original expla-nation of their nature. This opens up new opportunities to overcome those problems in the context of globalization through cultural and civilizational policy of different states, including Russia. In this context, special attention is paid to cultural and civilizational foundations of social systems. The author analyzes conditions when differences in the cultural and civilizational development of various societies become triggers of social instability and ‘color revolutions’. The article offers a fresh perspective on international sanctions as an alternative to military confrontation, and an opportunity to overcome problems in a peaceful way.
